How to Create a Shipper from a Basic Sales Order — Order Management

The above video illustrates how to create a shipper from a sales order in the Order Management module for Microsoft Dynamics SL, formerly known as Microsoft Solomon.

If you want to have your shipper created automatically with a sales order, you’ll want to ensure that your Order Types screen is set up accordingly. In the Order Management module, select Order Types from the Maintenance section. Enter your Order Type, then take a look at the Never Automatically Create Shippers checkbox. If this checkbox is clear, then automatic shipper creation is available functionality.
