Expanded Net Check Functionality within Dynamics SL — Payroll Module

This tutorial covers the expanded Net Check functionality delivered with the Payroll module for Microsoft Dynamics SL, formerly known as Microsoft Solomon. You will walk through being able to use all earnings types and deduction types to calculate Net Checks.

Working hand-in-hand with this ability, Payroll automatically calculates the amount of gross earnings and the amounts of each deduction for this type of check. The batch release process takes into consideration limits, deduction overrides, exemption credits, and so on, when it calculates the Net Check. This eliminates the need to check each deduction when reviewing the checks.
